PADI Rescue Diver
The course to behave correctly in an emergency
Overview
Do you want to know what to do in dangerous situations when diving? The PADI Rescue Diver ensures that you know what to do in the event of diving accidents or critical situations. This ensures greater safety for yourself and your dive buddy.
We, and also divers who have already been certified with the Rescue Diver, see this further training as demanding, but also extremely beneficial. Knowing what to do in an emergency gives you an incredible amount of confidence. After all, you must never forget that diving is an extreme sport that is fraught with danger.
WAS UNSERE KUNDEN SAGEN
QUALITÄT, NICHT QUANTITÄT
We have made quality of our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day.

Learner content
The PADI Rescue Diver course lasts 4 days and consists of a total of 8 dives during which the various exercises are carried out. The course trains you for the event of a diving accident and how this can occur and manifest itself.
How do I recognise stress in other divers? What does a panicked diver look like? What do I do if a diver floats unconscious on the surface or even loses consciousness underwater? You will learn to master all these situations.
On this course, you will not only work with the diving equipment you are familiar with. We provide you with other equipment that is used for the Rescue Diver. This includes the oxygen unit on the boat, rescue buoys, pocket masks for breathing, etc.
By learning these skills in emergency situations, your self-confidence is strengthened and you can approach dives with your buddy in a more relaxed manner.
Course requirements
Minimum age of 15 years
Completed first aid course in the last 24 months (e.g. our EFR course)

Procedure
Before we set off, we will arrange an exact pick-up time with you a few days in advance. This is usually around 8 a.m. (depending on the location of the hotel).
You will be picked up at the hotel and then taken to the harbour where our boat is moored.
The boat leaves around 9 am and takes us to our first dive site. The journey usually takes about 1 hour. During this time, we will explain the equipment to you and give you a briefing. Here you will learn all the important things you need to know during the dive and on the boat.
After the first dive there is a lunch break and you will be served fresh lunch and soft drinks. You can rest and relax on the sun deck until the second dive.
Then it's off to the second dive site for the second dive.
Afterwards we have seasonal fruit and make our way back to Hurghada. We dock back in the harbour at around 4 pm and take you back to your hotel.
Our team will of course be on hand all day to provide you with advice and assistance.
